This was an incredibly educational post, thanks so much for taking the time to jot down it. I found out that my area library incorporates a makerspace which has a 40W CO2 laser engraver/cutter. It’s built to appeal to paper crafters who want a little more power for cutting wood and leather, but don’t provide the spending budget for Glowforge
